Saturday
26th September - MiniWorld Action Day at Castle Combe, Wiltshire. This
Annual track day is great fun and you chance to watch mini racing for
free or to take yours on track if pre-booked for £21. The run down is
fast but legal, leaving M25 Clackett Lane at 7.30am, for the 140 mile,
2 hour 15 minute trip. If you want free entry then the first 12 to post
on SMOC message board. We have bought 6 track passes, first come first
served.
Wednesday 30th Sept - Pub Meet at The Cock Inn at
Luddesdown, Kent. This is an extra pub meet, so why not try this
country pub? Cock Inn, Henley Street, Luddesdown, DA13 0XB
Sunday
4th October - Mini RIP Run. In this 50th year an 9 years since the mini
ceased production, SMOC are doing a run. Full details in your next
Miniacs or the message board.
Saturday 17th Oct - Hastings
Bonfire Parade. SMOC do this fun run and firework and pagan bonfire
parade each year. We leave the Harvester on the A229 at Sandling at 4pm
for the 2 hour drive to Hastings. We park in the Rock-a-Nor car park
(£1.20), then go for fish n chips and watch the parade. It all finishes
about 9.30pm. It’s free and you can turn up on the day. However if you
