Claire meets the legend that is Paddy Hopkirk at the #minifair
Gary's Sport 5 at Regent Street
Regent Street Motor Show - Sat 5th November
Even though we expected rain all day, it was dry and sunny for a while. What an experience, being there while they closed Regent Street and parked all the minis, e types, cars of the future and 100s of pre 1911 cars. There were many celebs, including one of our own, John Gray who won the public vote for best mini - they must love dangermouse!

John Nash won best in class for 'BMW MINI'
Blenheim Palace Mini and VW Show
The Blenheim Palace Mini and VW Show was a fairly small show with a very good attendance - especially from locals.
The mix of Minis, MINIs and VWs made the show all the more interesting. There were some stunning examples from both 'families'.
SMOC member John Nash won best in class for 'BMW MINI' - something that spurred him on to do a bit more polishing of his MINI Clubman after leaving the arena. (He even got his J-Cloth out on Jason's MINI Clubman which didn't make the 'clean' grade.

Jason Dilling's son and Mini at Southern Mini Days.
Southern Mini Days
This year's Southern Mini Days was as eventful as ever. The quality of the cars exhibited was exceptional. The owners showed great resilience during the concourse judging when the heavens opened.
